I went to the ALC course there back in 2010. It was awful I do not believe the instructors were good teachers or had the knowledge or experience to teach at that level. However the army has changed its NCOES the days of multiple choice answers are no longer. The Army wants agaile adaptive thinkers. No more using references. Be ready to study

I took my 92Y training at Fort Lee, saw several 40 level there.

I don't think 92Y40 course is in Fort Knox, wouldn't it be at Lee?

You are correct. However, the USAR also has a schoolhouse at Knox that teaches ALC and SLC.
