Can anyone answer with surety if my son can have a POV at Pre-RASP? He currently looks to be there as long as 4 months. Also, any insight into their typical leave policy?

Why was he there for 4 months? My son has an option 40 contact and it was definitely not explained that way.

There were several factors that contributed: 1) They were WAY overcrowded when he arrived, 2) The first two cycles that classed up took almost no 11B MOS candidates because the Regiment was in need of support MOSs, and 3) he was there during the holidays, which affected the pace a bit. It's not uncommon for candidates to wait several months for a class up.

Got my answer. My son is there now, and IS allowed a POV while there. So now we all know...
