Apparently, according to my most recent LES, I was overpaid $489.68. I don't want DFAS to be deducting this from my drill pay for the next two months. Is there any way I could manually repay this debt? Or would doing so cause even more trouble down the road?

Do not attempt to do the right thing and short circuit the system! The Army has it’s ways. Those ways are inflexible and will dump on you!

In my short service experience I learned to not mess with DFAS. If you can afford them to take the entire balance st once allows it. Otherwise you can find yourself with a bigger issue that those $489.68!
