Fountain has some nice neighborhoods. Within driving distance of Carson. Peterson and the airport has some really nice homes for rent and sale.

As of now, the CAB. Although, slotting for 25N3O is incredibly limited, so I may request to be moved not long after arrival.

WO1 (Join to see) ook. Not bad. I was in 3rd Brigade, 1-68 Armor during my time there. Enjoyed it, really loved the Springs and seeing Pikes Peak going to and from work every morning. Liked Denver too but they're doing alot of construction in those areas so you'll have plenty options. Check out VA home loans for the best financing options. Good luck and enjoy your assignment there!

I would suggest that it depends on your goals. Do you intend to keep the property and rent it out, or sell it on when you move? My wife and I used the USAA home buying circle to locate a real estate agent, and she was able to provide us with in depth analysis about differences in school districts, possible development, taxes, and so on. Colorado Springs has so many military personnel in and out, you are able to find houses within your budget. Keep in mind some areas will appreciate more than others. We ended up building a new house in the Northeast end of the city and are really happy with the house, area, and appreciation.

The entire area's market is highly competitive, like listed for 3 hours and gone competitive. Get a realtor quickly. This one was great for us and many others. Sorry about quality of the photo...snapped it off our fridge.
