I remember reading something awhile back about some baseball players going to Ranger School to learn leadership, but I can't find anything about it now. Did something like this happen, or am I mistaken?

While I was an RI we had baseball team coaching staff come to Camp Merrill. We discussed resiliency and showed them some simple mountaineering stuff.
Also, the Boy Scouts do a high adventure camp on Camp Merrill. They sleep in the barracks, eat in the chow hall and hire RI's to treat them like Ranger and teach them mountaineering stuff. I did that 3 times it was pretty fun.

I was able to find this as well: https://benningnews.org/2016/10/20/auburn-baseball-team-builds-camaraderie-on-ranger-course/
I'm sure I had read about them going to Ranger School, and I was really under the impression that they attended the entire course, but maybe this is all it was.

Not to my knowledge. No CIA and other Law enforcement agencies have trained at RANGER school but never attented.

We had a group of DEA Agents shadow my class in ‘91 through all the phases. They did a little training in the same AO and then headed back for hot chow and lots of rack time, haha
