As it seems to train rebels to fight ISIS.
I feel like we have been here before and we are just revisiting the issues from a year or two ago, but against a different enemy. Will supporting these rebels eventually see them fighting against us?

Let's give them the best weapons and training available....odds are we won't be fighting them next in 10 years...right?

Providing weapons and training to rebels has certainly never bitten us in the ass before.

Two Thoughts:
First, I'll answer the question. YES, I firmly believe they'll use the training, weapons, and anything else against us and we'll be seeing them soon. That seems to be the general consensus in the RP community
secondly, im tired of the piecemeal deployments of our troops while proclaiming no ground troops. We sent over 700 "advisors" to Iraq between Jun and Oct 14, then more than doubled that number in Nov. to 1500. Now, 300 to Syria. That is nonsense. Im not opposed to providing ground troops, but we need ground troops, SAY SO, put together a plan, conduct the mission, and bring our Service members home

Obama doubles Iraq troop numbers
The roughly 1,500 additional troops will be in a “non-combat role,” the Pentagon says.

Well, yeah...before this it was OEF/OIF, then Operation New Dawn, then Operation Inherent Resolve/Operation Freedom Sentinel...now we're up to Operation Enduring Clustrf%$& for Syria.
I think we're just renaming these in an effort to say we won the last war and these are entirely new conflicts.
