Anyone have experience with switching your net pay from bi-weekly to monthly? What are some pros and cons?

I've done both.
As a E4 living off-post, with bills that were close to half my pay, it was easier to get paid once a month rather than scrape by for a week to mid-month.
After E5, it didn't really matter.
