Why my DOR changed after Federal recognition?

I had a direct commission on April of this year. My new DOR is Jun 2017. When does the clock star for time in grade for captain.

Usually it's June. It goes by DOR. It seems odd that your DOR got forward dated from commission. For me it was back dated due to issues with the commissioning process that I had.

Thanks for the answer. So, should I star the clock to captain from the new DOR or from the date of my federal recognition board this past April?

Date of Rank. Did you direct commission as 1LT?

You can start calculating your Time in Service from you Fed Rec though.
