I took a look at my December LES and had a line that read:

REFUND MEDICARE -.02

Yep... you seen that right... I was "refunded" -.02.

On my LES, what I thought was interesting was the .50 they deduct for the Armed Forces Retirement Home. At .50 an enlisted Soldier, over my 20 year career just the Army Soldiers alone contributed about $65,000,000. There should some retirements with hallways paved in gold around here somewhere for the enlisted retirees.
