So I head to BLC in January what should I expect out of the new curriculum? Should I memorize the NCO creed, PRT, and DNC? Land Nav?

Yup, all of that will be present.
Also, be prepared to do a little public speaking, something many Soldiers are uncomfortable with.
Confidence is key. And nothing builds confidence like practice.

Also start looking at FM 7-22.7 and ADP 6-22. You’re going to get exposure to a lot of the basics, especially how to counsel Soldiers.

Brush up and have someone help you fine tune your DNC and Land NAV, and remember everything is on a computer so control F will be you savior. I know DNC like the back of my hand but when someone is grading you it makes for a stressful situation. Practice makes perfect. Good luck!

Hello SSG Corry, do you mean DNC is all on a computer and we don’t march around all day, same with Land nav? I’m heading to blc this week, just curious.
