Hello everyone.

I am currently and SMP Cadet with Army ROTC at Virginia Commonwealth University and just received my Accession Worksheet to pick my Branch preferences. I was previously a paralegal (27D) so my being colorblind/ color-deficient (whatever they call it now) was never a factor.

My question for the RallyPoint community is:
Is there a comprehensive list of Army Officer Branch choices and restricting factors? I cannot find anywhere that will tell me if my being colorblind is restrictive of a specific branch (minus aviation because that's just a lost cause for myself to attempt). I know when I enlisted that many jobs said "Normal color vision required", but I have not found anything with such requirements laid out for Officer Branches.
If anyone could help me out so I can make an informed Branch Choice, that would be much appreciated. I don't need a straight up for sure answer, just somewhere to look.

also just a sidebar question.
Do you think RallyPoint should add the rank of SMP Cadet (E5)?

As an SMP Cadet that has been enlisted for 3 years, I think this would be a necessary add to the ranks, not to recognize it as a rank but simply so I am not listing myself as an NCO. I'm not saying I don't want to be listed as Sergeant (E5) but I did not earn that title. I am NOT a sergeant and have not been awarded that opportunity. I am only lucky enough to have an E5 pay grade because ROTC deemed me worthy of contracting as a cadet and E5 is now my official pay grade within the Army. I do not feel I deserve to be listed as Sergeant when I did not earn that, but I cannot put anything other than E5 without being falsely listed.

Sergeant, when you first create your account you are able to choose among cadet ranks.
