I’m looking for some courses to see if my command will let me go to. I know about going to schools like Airborne, Ranger, and Sapper and also the professional development schools like BLC, ALC, and so on. Are their any courses the Army offers that you would recommend taking that aren’t your historically iconic schools?

SPC (Join to see) You already have a college degree.

Why not apply for a Physician Assistant course?

You are in a MOS “field”, are you qualified to move up in that field?

Strive to improve yourself and receive an valuable, lasting education via the military!

Look into courses listed in AR 350-1, college, and courses specific to your MOS / CMF.

LTC Stephen Conway - SPC (Join to see) I did not have time to review your profile, but if you have aspirations- the Army/Air and sure the other services have PA programs where you do something like 18-24 months- you come out as a PA and give the AF 6 years and then you are off n running or you can finish your military career. Again- there are professional health recruiters that can help with this. I do not have an AD counterpart- only the Guard. I would talk to your unit training reps to help get you started and move towards the hospital training rep to see if they have more current/better contacts. Good luck and please keep me in the loop and can feed you what I get now and again.
