I had my physical in the early part of December, and have noticed on the website that it almost instantly went into review of evidence. I know there is typically a wait, and I don't effectively retire until 28 February, so I have time, but it would be nice information to have for financial planning.

I was discharged for a disability 4 years ago. I had the Army and VA percentages a couple months before terminal leave. I was told it would be easier to appeal the percentages at that time through the PEBLO and VA Rep. I don't remember difficulty in getting my VA disability in a timely manner.

Military will be standard retirement, I wouldn't be surprised to see 80-100% for VA due to my laundry list of illnesses/injuries.

It sounds like you did the Pre Discharge Program. This is where you do all your VA medical on your way out of the military.

To give you an idea of the timeline, my last day in the Army was 30 JAN 2016, the retirement date of 01 FEB 2016. By March I had a desition done, I received a letter in April, payments began in May with some back pay.
