Ive been stationed on Camp pendleton with my wife for a year, she just joined the Navy and is now in boot camp. What can i do/ who can i talk to in order to coordinate her moving to me??ive read the Navmc order of 90 miles apart a general rule and that the commands will make every effort possible to do it. But every marine around me is saying its all on her. but ive also heard and read that Both parties need to submit the Navmc 1 year ahead of PCS. Since she just joined and no way could it be a year yet, How can i or what do i do to make sure her first duty station is on or near mine?

Speak to your command and have her do the same. They and your personnel section will know how to process properly. There are never guarantees in the military. Thank you for your service.

You will have to make sure your monitor and her detailer are notified and are in contact with one another.

Cpl (Join to see) Remember to be patient. You have a lot of time on your hands before you can really move forward. She has to make it through basic and to A-School. It wouldn't hurt for her to speak with her RDC at Great Lakes, but they will probably recommend waiting to speak with her LPO at A-School before contacting her detailer. I recommend speaking with your NCOs / Staff NCOs for assistance with informing your monitor, but the monitor may tell you to call them back when she gets to A-School. Dual military is already a tricky situation, but it's more difficult when you're both in different services. What's her rating going to be?
