Encourage Soldiers to SAVE, reduce debt and take advantage of TA, CLEPS and DANTES before it is reduced or discontinued. If it happened before, it will most likely happen again, I forecast in the year 2016. When budget talks commence, coming to an agreement will come with a price for americans.

"The deal under discussion would raise discretionary spending in 2014 from $967 billion to around $1.015 trillion. (Spending would then stay at the same level for 2015.) The extra $30 to $40 billion or so in spending next year would be split evenly between defense and non-defense programs.

That's not enough to fend off all of the pain from sequestration — less than half of the $109 billion in sequestration cuts next year would get averted in any deal. But it would ease some of the pressure."

Suspension in funding "is necessary given the significant budget execution challenges caused by the combined effects of a possible year-long continuing resolution and sequestration," the G-1 public affairs office wrote in a released statement today.

You're welcome sir. I was one who procrastinated for years before taking advantage of the Army's Tuition Assistant (TA) and College Level Examination Program (CLEP). If I can go back in time, I would have completed my doctorates by now, for FREE. I'm moving closer though.
