I am currently putting together a WOFT packet and wanted to know if I’m looking like a decent application. I scored an 86 on my ASVAB with a 126 GT, 260 on my APFT and am currently studying for my SIFT test.
Education-wise I was never that good. Fairly low highschool GPA, not because I was dumb I was just fairly disinterested. I excelled during tests but basically never did homework which would kill my grades. I was a varsity athlete for all 4 years which I hope would account for a little bit of leadership experience. I currently have 4 LOR’s from a Colonel and Lt. Colonel in the Army, a retired USAF Colonel, and my former EMT instructor. I have yet to take a flight physical but just wanted to know if I’m on the right track so far.

Good scores for your ASVAB. I'm not sure if they take APFT score into account or if its just pass/fail. I believe education is a pretty important factor in selection. If WOFT is your life goal, I would suggest starting on at least an associates degree. Obviously it will be too late for this packet, but if needed in the future, it would be a big boost and it may outweigh the low high school GPA. Keep studying for the SIFT, doing well on that should help you when you are asking for a LOR from a senior warrant. I am not as familiar with the street to seat packet, but I would say you are off to a good start. The LOR's and flight physical are what took the longest for my packet. Just make sure you follow all the directions and follow the checklist.
