I was injured Nov 2017 while on drill weekend with the Air National Guard and went to the ER. I received an approved LOD in Dec 2017. Did not get approved to see a doctor until May 2018 (1 1/2 months before ETS). Medical at unit said they felt I did not need medical care because I was not on MEDCON orders. MEDCON was offered to me 3 months after injury, that requires a doctors note (I had no doctor at that time). After 7 months of calling everyone from DHA to the Governors office, I was finally given a doctor. I was able to get an office visit and schedule a MRI July 25 2018. I was unable to keep the appointment because my ETS date was July 24th. I have a torn labrum in my right shoulder and have been in pain for 16 months now. I am waiting for a decision from the VA. I have not been able to hold a job for long because of the pain. I have not received any compensation at all from this injury. I also have medical bills from going to the ER a few times do to the pain. What can be done??? I am done being screwed over!!! The main ones who screws me over include.... MSgt, SMSgt and a Major. Someone please tell me what can be done?

Trust what I tell you, and call these guys, NOVA, or look up where any of their attorneys are on their search engine...whatever minor charge there is for an initial consult, believe what I tell you, my wife and I had to give our guy $500, then I learned to simply shut up, and do EXACTLY what the man said...other than the major vet groups, or law school vet law clinics, these guys are the very top of the VA disability attorney and/or claim rep food chain...also, just as another thought, I'd go to all three Congress offices for you, and file with them, as well as your local, county, and state legislators, as well...my whole thing was a God awful mess, it took six and half years of a vet group, then our NOVA guy, the vet group was good, don't get me wrong, however, our NOVA guy was high up the NOVA food chain, had done 3 yrs active duty, and had done VA disability law for 35-40 yrs, so, believe what I say, and trust NOVA implicitly, I've sent them in on here many times, as have others, it'll likely take a long, long time...save every single piece of paper, get all tour records from your state, from VA, and from NPRC in St. Louis, the latter using the eVetRecs Java applet website, we did the whole thing, the real deal, multiple notices of disagreement (NOD), decision review officer (DRO) appeals, even seeing a VA admin law judge (ALJ) with the Board of Veteran Appeals (BVA) traveling team, and after that it took at least another year or two, with yet more VA clinical evals, however, out NOVA guy got it done, finally, if you'd wanna chat about it, just ask, I'll try and explain whatever else I can, OK?
