My ETS date is October 31 2019, and I plan on leaving active to transition into the National Guard, but my unit is supposedly deploying in September of 2019. We have no official orders, no SLSM or anything yet, but I want to know if I will be able to ETS as normal.

For that matter, does anyone know if Milper 12-158 is still in effect?

You will be offered to extend to deploy with your unit if you choose. Otherwise, you will ETS as scheduled.

You’ll be able to ETS as scheduled. Also talk with your S1 as suggested in the previous comment. Good Luck to you...
