My admin sergeant today told me that the National Guard bonus system is currently down. Is this true?

GIMS came back up last week from the catastrophic server failure back in October.
That said, almost every week GIMS is down for a few hours due to routine maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, SMMS server problems, or your state's server problems.
If he was not able to get in Friday, he should be able to get in Monday.
On any given day, 25,000-35,000 Army Guard members are waiting for a bonus in GIMS.

I believe the system and Agency is through DFAS. Sometimes it is human error.

GIMS is finally up and running. Be patient though, my bonus is two years overdue.
