Your husband would have to apply for command sponsorship in order to get approved for housing. You will have to get an EFMP Screening done (physical) using a DA 5888 signed by a physician as well to get your travel approved. Once approved you will be able to apply for a no-fee passport at no expense to you. Have your husband to go to see his S1 to get the process started, if you’re living by a military installation schedule yourself an appointment for the EFMP Screening and make sure you have the paperwork with you at the appointment for the provider. Once this is completed get the 5888 to your husband because it will have to accompany the packet for command sponsorship. I hope this helps. PFC (Join to see)

I recommend contacting the Housing Office directly to inquire about your situation.

It can take anywhere from 2-3 days to 60 days. More than likely you will be assigned a house within the first week of arriving. They have a lot of lower enlisted housing available move in ready.
