In the prior service business rules, is 92Y now an available MOS for an E5?

Good evening, with my ets from the army reserve coming up in July, I was gonna make an attempt at coming in active afterward.. I was checking out the current prior service business rules and noticed that 92Y is an available MOS for an E5. Or maybe I’m just reading it wrong?

SSG, did you get to choose your MOS going active IAW prior service business rules? There are no 25B slots available for E5, so was wondering whether i would be able to pick any MOS within paragraph 7B of the business rules. Thanks!

I’m prior service and just signed up for 3yrs for a 92Y slot. From my understanding, they’re looking for a good bit more however, AIT for the summer was almost full

In order to get the best most accurate answer for your question I highly recommend you to check with a recruiter. They will be able to check to see what you qualify for. What you want may not be available or you may not qualify for. You don’t have to wait until July to start that process. If you wait until then the options that’s available now may not be available in July. Good luck to you...
