How can you view your VA claim award letter electronically?

Update my claim was completed on April 2,2019 with a packet mailed out to me. I check ebenefits for any type of new award letter or notification letter but nothing has been updated. Wondering if I got denied do ebenefits has not changed?

VA disability compensation "award" letters are not available electronically, but you can view your VA benefits in receipt on eBenefits or VA.gov.

WHY Can't we see our Award Letters ON-LINE?? Is an ACT-of_Congress that keeps them off E-Benefits or some bureaucratic BS. If I can my medical info for the Past 5 or more years with Blue Button on My-HealtEVet you should be able to do the same for our Award Letters; they are not TS-SCI info. HIPPA Laws are more strict but a method has been made for Medical Records WHY NOT Award Letters ON-LINE. We should have an easy way to reference these documents for making future fully developed claims.

At this point I'd just wait until it arrives. It should come any day. There is a way to see it in eBenefits. I pulled it from a,link on my dashboard.

That is correct, IF there is actually a claim letter. In my case I was told that a decision had been made an I would receive a letter within 10 days. Result: A letter was never written, never sent, did not exist. They simply reached a point in my case where someone decided to start over so they "pushed a LETTER SENT button". A couple weeks later they started over and my file shows that I started a NEW appeal. They are fools led by fools.

You cannot view the claim letter. In my case, VA .gov and ebenefits show a claim letter was mailed to me but that is not correct. They just got to that stage in my claim review and then someone started it over. Having said that, go to your benefit monthly pay in ebenefits and see if anything has changed. If you have been awarded anything, it will show us there. good luck.
