How would large scale operations (US vs. China or Russia) Impact how we do ECP's and ECP Operations?

So I have been tasked to teach a ECP (Entry Control point) class during my AT this year. Being an AG officer now its been awhile since ive had anything to do with ECP's and ECP operations. My question is how would large scale operations (US vs. China or Russia) Impact how we do ECP's and ECP Operations? Any input from you combat seasoned NCO's and Officers would be appreciated. Ive got a couple of book resources as well im looking into such as FM 3-0 and my old MP books from my enlisted life.

1LT (Join to see) establishing a perimeter with a one way traffic pattern and a primary entry control point and a contingency entrance and exit for recovery vehicles was pretty much SOP prior to GWOT. What we did after was an extension of that. Not new. Go to CALL and look at NTC newsletters. If all else fails, go to the CASCOM Onestop and find a FSB/BSB ops manual.

FM 22-6 covered guard duty.
ECPs in full spectrum operations is not like a FOB ECP where commercial traffic is going in and out, cook off yards etc. it's a serpentine of wire, usually a crew served weapon covering the approach and only confirmed Blue traffic in and out.
Edit: it is also very temporary and not built up. I would not plan on being in a stationary perimeter more than 48 hrs. Your perimeter will likely just be a wide herringbone with gun trucks pointed out and hasty positions scraped out of the ground and some wire put up, maybe only single strand in places. Units in the offensive will be moving too fast to do anything else.
