If I am PCSing without family, would I be able to receive BAH for where my family will be?

I am pcsing to Benning and will be doing so with out my family. In the process in enrolling the wife into efmp and also dealing with legal issues for custody of my step daughter. If provided with all documentation of this happening, would I be able to receive bah for where my family will be?

You'll receive BAH for your work zip code. The only time you would receive BAH for where your family resides is if you're unaccompanied OCONUS or you received a BAH waiver from HRC, which doesn't apply in your case.

When married and not at the same location, yes you should be receiving BAH from where they reside....or HOR....depends on the what the specifics in the regs cover that.
