What do you think about this? When we are dealing with budget cuts and dealing with downsizing they are coming up with this? feelings thoughts

SSG Turkezer, it looks pretty tasty and I think it will be a great morale-booster. True, a lot of money was spent developing it, but the lessons learned during the lab's research will be applied for the next few decades. The project was initiated long before we entered the budget crunch.
It's hard to put a price tag on higher morale and better quality of life for our guys on the front line.
They call it the holy grail of ready-to-eat meals for soldiers: a pizza that can stay on the shelf for up to three years and still remain good to eat.

I agree with 1SG Carter. Put some effort and money into other things than MREs. Yes, they can use some improvements but pizza??? Seriously???
