Hello, so I’ve recently re-upped to re-class to 31B. My AIT class begins this September. I still have not received my orders for a duty station. Since my deros recently changed, my Retention NCO sent up an email to HRC concerning my orders. In the email he put down my request to be stationed at Ft. Sam Houston after AIT. Just curious as to what are the chances of getting stationed there?

SPC (Join to see) Chances are slim unless you have requested it in your contract (and I don't think the Army has ever allowed specific station requests in the contract). But ultimately what SFC (Join to see) said.

You'll be given an assignment to an open requisitions that has a report date close to your graduation date.
