Hey so I'm on a mission for the next 3-5 months, not really getting to practice my MOS or drink and I got probably more free time than I know what to do with. I'm trying to make this work to my advantage I'm a 68W so I wanna train up for EFMB, I downloaded the course abstract but I'm the only medic outta 75 people where I'm at. I'm just looking for some mentorship from someone who's gone through it on what to expect, styles to emulate, mistakes to avoid.

Focus on the tasks that are most challenging for you. For me, it was land navigation and night Land Nav. The other tasks; NBC, litter-carry, etc were pretty second nature to me. Above all, don't psyche yourself out. I was one of only 20 people in my Division that won the EFMB in 1987, and it wasn't until I was standing in that formation that I realized that I was the only private. No one told me that I wasn't supposed to get it on my first try, so I didn't know any better.
