The problem with that article is that it is not very informative. There is no real basis to determine if its valid based on whats really written. I would be wary of it until details could be read.

Probably about 10 bucks, while the lawyers will get most of it, making it a big waste of time for anyone who actually lost their hearing due to wearing them.
