I am prior service and have to reclassify to a 92y. Will I be an MOS-T for my new MOS when I go to AIT? I guess I’m trying to figure out if I just tell them when I show up that I am prior service and am reclassing to a 92-Y?

You will be considered MOS-T. You will not be housed with the new AIT Soldiers and you will have less restrictions when you are done for the day.

Yeah, like everyone else says you will be okay. You will be classified as an MOS-T and wont be with IET soldiers. I was prior service as well who did a similar process when joining the Army recently
