Here is my situation... I am currently deployed and am on PCS Assignment with a June 10, 2015 report date. My unit isn't set to redeploy until May and they are trying to send me back early in order to clear. They mentioned sending me back early April. Now with my leave and Permissive TDY days that would put me signing out on leave May 16th. With everything I have to get done to clear including setting up transportation pickup coming back in April would be really pushing it in order to meet a May 16th sign out date. Where is a regulation that states how early you can start to clear and set up household goods pickup? I'm getting the run around with my chain of command on this issue and I am trying to be proactive in getting certain things taken care out out here before I return to Bragg. Thanks...

Thanks... I just emailed the lady who sent me the Levy Brief email and asked if I could email her the documents you would normally bring to the levy brief in order to expedite my orders being cut. hopefully that will help..

If you have orders I would call and set up your transpo now, they will likely work around your situation. Other than that sounds like you have time for the rest of the move. If not put in for a 30 deferment.
