My husband had orders to Vilseck Germany, but had them deleted due to EFMP command sponsorship denial. How long will it take to get new orders? We were told 4-6 months by his leadership, but that seems like an outrageous amount of time. Is this correct? Also, will we have to start all over on the levy packet or will they just be able to reference the one we turned in last month and just change the gaining unit?

If your husband requested Germany through reenlistment then he will renegotiate his contract. If he was placed on assignment, it's whenever the branch manager chooses to move him again; weeks, months, or years. They may move him to Korea in order to keep the dependent at your location and reset his time on station.
You'll have to restart the levy from scratch

Brooke Slaughter he'll need to take the EFMP denial letter to his career counselor and request a Reno. It's very easy and does not take long. But you probably won't be reporting till next summer.

Brooke Slaughter that's not to say that it will be. You could be reporting as early as December. But, just be prepared that he gets to choose a duty station, or training, but not a report date.

Ma'am- it will be like starting all over again. Based on your needs, there may not be 1. a whole of EFMP spots, then are their any slots for your husband's MOS/grade. Best bet is to BUg the daylights out of the S1 and the HRC ASAP.

Thank you Sir. The EFMP requirements shouldn’t be hard to come across being stationed CONUS since we were only denied due to my anxiety. I’m sure S1 is tired of seeing my face at this point so hopefully when I go to Battallion tomorrow we can get the ball rolling. They know I have no shame in showing up every morning at 0900 lol thank you for the quick response.
