How long do RE-3 waivers take from NGB? I’m attempting to reenlist in the Air Guard and have all my med documents for the last 15 years (I’m 26) and it’s already been 3 weeks going on 4 since it was submitted. I got discharged in 2015 for pt failure and got a general under honorable. I was in the army guard. This is my 3rd air guard recruiter cause I’ve been passed around as my recruiters keeping leaving. Any ideas? Thanks!

In really hope not. I’ve been at this for almost 2 years now cause I’ve been passed around. I finally have a good recruiter now so I think I’m good. I’ve already passed pt and tape so I’m good on that front.

PFC (Join to see) It sounds like you've obtained all the documentation you will need. The process is a long one. Now, yours may be quicker than mine - I had a medical discharge due to misdiagnosed migraines.
I went through 2 air guard recruiters, and an army guard recruiter before I found the recruiter at Whiteman that was able to get me back in.
Basically, I had to get a waiver just to get to go back to MEPS. MEPS then had to clear me to get a waiver from the SG. The SG then sent the waiver to NGB to get me into the MO Air Guard. It was a process, but well worth it.

PV2 Adar Fulton - Then, it could, literally, be sitting on the MEPS commander's desk awaiting approval. Hard to tell w/ all the channels it has to navigate. So long as the recruiter continues to follow up on it, should be good :)
