Apparently not is all well and good in NY, as 15 cities want to scede from their own state. What say you RP, will they be successful?

I'm not sure. If your current administration is not considering and discussing the well intended wishes of its citizens, you should have the ability to do something about it.

But at the same time I do not like the idea of "jumping ship" because things are not going your way...

Just thought is was funny...well actually sad, that there were so many cities wanting to leave. It should be interesting.

Yeah, just like with most politically charged things I'm not sure what the best solution is. You can't make everyone happy, but at the same time we have amendments for a reason. So that we can try something out, see if things improve, and then if they don't we just take it back out. The most annoying thing about our government is that everyone thinks any decision that gets made is final and set in stone. Try the fracking thing, if things improve and the so called hazards and such are not that bad, leave it be. If swapped go back to the drawing board and find another solution.

I remember learning in school that you access the situation, find a potential solution, look at the results, and return to step one until the job is done...

Wait that was science i think... does that mean that we should think about things logically?... haha

Most NYers of which I am one can't stand NY politics at least the Big Apple. Why their governors outside of a couple are useless.

Yes, but they became another state. Those 15 cities want to become part of PA. Anyway, I hope our government allows this to stay a state issue.
