My wife is starting the process for Navy ODS, health care administration. What are the top three duty locations on the east coast for this position?

I'd seen you'd said she wants to go Navy...I just thought I'd send this, as few tend to consider USPHS for such work, generally most tend to think of just Army, Navy, USAF, obv...and that was interesting about the ODS acronym, I'd known about OIS programs, for direct-commission indoc obv, as opposed to OIS, I was in grad school with a Navy OIS grad at one point, he'd always wear his tee shirt, he'd been a nuc power instructor, I'd just never seen the ODS acronym till you'd mentioned it....

Capt. Goodman, thank you for the info. I'll admit I knew about ocs, but not ODS until I did some research. This link you sent me, it looks interesting. I'll have the wife take a look at it later.

That depends on you! Where would you and your wife like to live? HCA Officers are typically at Naval Hospitals and large ships (L-class and CVN). Main choices would be Hampton Roads (Portsmouth Naval Hospital, LHA/LHD/CVN at Naval Station Norfolk), Jacksonville, FL, and the DC/Annapolis area. Good luck to you and your wife!
