Long story short, when I entered the military I was granted a TS-SCI. I’m just curious to know if opportunities exist that would require a nurse to have a TS-SCI.

Not many, your TS will expire before you would qualify for any of those type fo positions

I could see if you worked at Guantanamo perhaps. Call your branch manager and ask for broadening assignments that may require one, they just may pop you in sometime cool.

Try an HRC billet search for your MOS and 1-2 grades up (1 up 2 down is the window for assignment, e.g. I hold an O4 billet as an O3). Keep an eye out for SOCOM assignments, as everyone in the SOJ-shops tends to need that TS. As an added bonus, having it already makes you a prime candidate for those roles as the application process is currently years long. I’d expect to find some HHC medical sections that could use your skill set and support the right tier of operations to put that clearance to use.
