I’ve just graduated this course;
Here’s what I can tell you it is very server/network infrastructure focused. I would call this an entry level into BCCS, TOCNET, CISCO Call manager, and STT setup. Unfortunately you don’t actually do any hands-on with an STT like the setup, and no radio hands on. However you do receive valuable hands-on with BCCS and TOCNET ground up setup. You even go through a trouble shooting course after learning how to configure routers/switches/firewalls. I really recommend this to somebody who hasn’t had experience with these systems. If you do have extensive experience in these areas just be cognizant that this probably not going to “challenge” you. But this course isn’t necessarily meant for people that have that experience. Personally myself I’ve never been to BCT or a line unit that has this stuff so I got a lot out of it. But still it is another course for your ERB/SRB, so in that sense I do recommend it because it is good good course either way but just don’t look at it like it’s going to be super challenging cool guy course.

The pre-requisite exam is on and Warner, they want you to have S+, be at least an E5. once you meet all the prerequisites you have the course available to you in ATRRS.

Also note there is no honor grad or any of that 1059 candy. Show up, and help your classmates out; don’t be that guy trying to outshine and big brain everybody all the time, nobody likes that person anyway. All in all it’s a pretty good course but I wouldn’t call it an advanced course. Some things to note if you were taking online classes for college you don’t need to drop your classes you will have time to do homework. And you will get weekends to do whatever you want in Augusta.

this is what I found:

https://cybercoe.army.mil/SIGNALSCH/COURSES/course_sdmg.html

You could also try getting with your ATRRS Operator and/or Training NCO to look it up in ATRRS to see what the pre-reqs (if any) are.

>Does anyone have any information as far as prerequisites for the Signal Digital Master Gunner course?
Do you want to complete this course? I heard that it is the easiest course in the military. 9 to 3, weekends are off. I didn't complete the course, I work at a company( https://studyhippo.com/ ) that usually provides college homework help, but a friend of mine that completed told me that it is easy if you can operate with just a PC and windows. He even joked "If you are even over forty-five, and barely type with one finger, yes, it might be rough, but even these guys can make it up well enough to complete it."
