What should I do to help facilitate getting paid my re-enlistment bonus?

The update I received was: Still waiting to establish in DJMS (DFAS Pay system)
Was the response I received in regards to my reenlistment bonus. To clarify I signed for another 6 in Dec 7th of 18 and my ETS was Jan 31 of 19. So initial bonus pay should have been around March of 19. I’ve talked to quite a few people about this and the same answer is what I keep getting. Any help?

You have to show "cause" - they are just not going to give you the money.
Plus it needs to be approved by a General Officer after your local company & field grade commanders approved it.
A couple that I have seen that work (with a list of who, how much $) :
Divorce - need the money to pay bills (not the ex-wife's bills - yours).
Support for an elderly parent to pay hospital/home nurse bill.
That's about it but I'm sure others here know of some more.

Who in the holy heck is telling you this. In DFAS language, this means that they are trying to establish an account / or verify who you are. This was done by SS number, but now is done by DOD ID number. So, whomever is supposed to process your bonus (the Unit Administrator or S1) is doing a $#1+ job.

SGT (Join to see) double check your contract. look for a bonus control number. If you have a bonus control number call DFAS directly at this point. On the main page of mypay you will have a link for your branch.
Also, double check the language in the reenlistment contract. Does your reenlistment begin immediately or at the completion of your original contract? If it's the latter, what is that date??
