Have nuclear weapons played into calculations in the brouhaha over Turkey and Syria?

Been thinking of something in the midst of all the brouhaha over Turkey and Syria. Something that may have well played into calculations but is not being talked about. Incirlik Air Base is, as I recall, one of those potential storage sites for items the Military will neither confirm nor deny their presence. I imagine said objects, if they were there would be neither fast nor easy to move given the security requirements ... just thinking out loud ...
