I was in P3T and was given my record APFT to exit the program. My training room is trying to tell me that a record APFT does not count unless it is given in our Battalion.

Short and sweet. No. Any NCO can administer an APFT

MSG (Anonymous) - The craw of it is: If this P3T program is literally designed to help Soldiers pass their APFT, and is ran by military personnel....where their sole job is to administer the APFT, then I fail to see where the disconnect is. If this were the argument used across the board, then no APFT leading to any PME school would be valid, and no APFT in PME would be valid.

I wonder if command is worried that the apft was administered fairly. Many people graduate basic when their DS added a couple push ups or shaved some time off their run.

My APFT from BLC was way better than the record APFT I took before BLC. I asked my training room to add it and they put it on as a record. I would ask your command what the SOP is, and give the training room a POC for the APFT you took outside of your BN.
