I've been looking for this information, and I can't find it. I'm hoping some of you know the answer.

WO1 (Join to see) I freely admit to not caring about fonts used.

Most of them are like young women, nice to look at, but a nuisance to bother with.

Why would you use such a staid font as Times New Roman? For me it is easy for me to remember, if I think of it I like Ariel Narrow Bold.

Just curious - best!

SPC Elijah J. Henry, MBA Are you going to design and make a ‘personal’ patch? To wear where?

SPC Elijah J. Henry, MBA Interesting. With all of the fonts available, why go GI style? I am too lazy to bother with fonts when I write someone and - get confused at the number available.

A printed history, with photos of bastardized, informal or just personal patches would be interesting.

CSM Charles Hayden indeed on the history. I was working on a design and realized I wasn't happy with the font I had, so I wondered if the "official" fonts would look better.
