Petraeus consulting on the fight against IS

Do you think they will actually listen to him this time? I realize there is a black mark on his record now, but he had a really good strategy going in Iraq. Could he have good insight on how to carry on a fight vs. IS?

Yes, SSgt (Join to see) (neighbor), I think they will listen to him. And I think whoever decided to hire GEN (Ret) Petraeus as a consultant is a smart man or woman. Whatever mistakes he may have made don't take away the fact that General Petraeus is a brilliant strategist in these matters.
