Will I still be able to get promoted if my updated points do not reflect on my PPW by the 8th?

I’m looking to get promoted to SGT in January 2020, i updated all of my stuff on the 4th of December. My updated points did not reflect on my ppw untill the 9th, and i know updates need to be made by the 8th. Is it a chance that I’ll still get promoted even though my points didn’t reflect on the 8th?

No, the reg is very clear that all updates have to be in by the 8th. That's the cutoff date for HRC to pull information for promotions for the following month.

Roger, thank you sergeant. I was told too many things, because to my knowledge, as long as it’s in the system by the 8th everything is good. And even if it wasn’t reflected on my ppw that hrc can see it still on their end

SPC (Join to see) well the 8th was a Sunday so it's not impossible that they pulled everything on Monday the 9th. Just don't count on it.

Roger, thank you again sergeant, hopefully by the grace of god i make it lol. And as far as updates and stuff, does everything up date over the weekend or does it just update on duty days?

SPC (Join to see) the systems update on their own overnight. A database will update another database overnight. Then the second one updates a different one the next night. That's why updates take days to reach another system
