Is there a certain amount of time you have to use your chapter 8 option after birth ?

Do you have a certain amount of time before your chapter 8 option expires ? It’s been 4 months since this soldier has had her child. Does it expire ? Or can she still chapter ?

Have you tried reading the Chapter 8 of AR 635-200? Has the Soldier? The answer is clearly spelled out in both the title of the chapter and within the contents of the chapter. Chapter 8 is entitled "Separation of female Soldiers - Pregnancy". Unless she is in her 5th trimester, the Soldier is no longer pregnant.
