How many others remember listening to Paul Harvey? Growing up in KY, I remember we (my brothers and I) had to listen to Paul Harvey every school morning before walking to the bus stop (just over a mile each way). My father made us listen to him, and remember his catch phrase at the end of every radio show he would always say "Good day!"

There was always wisdom in the things he said as he spoke about the successes and sometimes the failures whether they were individual stories or the way our country was headed. A friend of mine sent me a clip to a link to an early Paul Harvey radio show he did 49 years ago! I'd like for you to listen to his words (he did not have a video attached to it, that was added by someone else) and let me know whether he was onto something, and where you think we are going as a country. In the simplest words of Paul Harvey, the rest of the story...

I heard him late in life...but loved hearing his voice and his words of wisdom. 'Good Day!'
