I’m wondering how to get attached to SFG? Is there a requirement or you can just walk in there office and ask? Or your unit have to send you there? Or you can ask you chain of command about it?

Contact your Branch manager, they should be able to help you. Being Airborne is a Requirement.

What I would suggest is to build your worth with your current Command. Show them you are valuable. Then get your chain of Command to possibly reach out to branch when you hit your time on station requirement

Call your branch manager. This is a regular assignment that branch handles, SORB does not do support assignments, only if you wish to become an operator.
