If I sign a counseling post apft failure and it states that I'm required to be on a remedial pt plan and the remedial plan never happens not once but three times (the previous two were made erroneous but not for that reason) are these counselings valid? Is this something I can fight a chapter process with?

It is far better to take responsibility for your deficiencies by acting on a solution, rather than blame others for how they failed you. You might be correct that leaders didn't provide the remedial training, but you are wrong because being physically fit is an individual responsibility. If others "failed you" don't compound that by failing yourself. Get a trainer if you have to. There should be a master fitness trainer in the battalion or a personal trainer at a gym. There is all kinds of information on the web. There are all kinds of PT studs at arm's reach. Just get the job done. The only one who will pay consequences is you, and you won't be successful fighting a chapter simply arguing the chain of command failed you. Pt is an individual responsibility.

youre right, but is it too much to ask for a little help. i know i need improvement. i try and do pt on my own when i can but i need the extra help. im not trying to avoid remedial like some people i litterally asking my command to get the program going so i can get the extra help. instead they dont care.

(Join to see) - Ok, here is the best advice you'll get all day. Don't wait on the command to structure a plan for you. You need to pass an APFT ASAP. If you don't, and they chapter you, it's too late. But, you likely have time if you commit yourself to being uncomfortable. What exactly is it you need to improve?

Passing the APFT is much easier than shithouse lawyering and scooping for loopholes.

Fail numerous APFTs and continue to try to find legal loopholes... Sounds like just the type of Soldier every leader is looking for.

you have it the other way around sir. in this company, were the ones looking for a leader. 7 people being chapter, 2 on suicide watch and 1 attempted suicide. morale so low its know brigade wide. weve had several special visits by the chaplain and assistant to address the lack of morale. theres not a single enlisted soldier nor junior NCO that is happy to be in this company.

(Join to see) Others with problems adversely affect your AFPT score? Is the AFPT not a personal responsibility? Can you hack it? Can you admit it ?
