As far as I understand the training houses are now using the new ACFT. The APFT is now phased out.

The ACFT is a graduation requirement in AIT, OSUT, BOLC, WOBC.

Right now or starting in October for the new fiscal year? My husband starts AIT in the beginning of March.

Ashley Parsons - As of October 1, 2019. For those of us active, Guard or Reserve it becomes the test of record Oct 1, 2020.

PFC (Join to see) easy answer, don’t fail. APFT is too easy. Minimum 180. But.... if you were to fail you get held over and given more opportunities. You don’t get separated from the Army until you fail TWO record APFTs within 90 days of each other. Workout, stay in decent shape and you will never have to worry about APFTs or the ACFT. You will turn to worrying about maxing it, not failing it. #staylit #staymotivated
