Can anyone give me any insight on the AGR Recruiter Program and how long they will be overstrength?

I was put on the consideration list in 07/14. Was selected and submitted my packet for AGR Recruiter in 12/14. Now they are on a freeze because USAREC is at overstrength. I was told that I am on a list of approved soldiers who are awaiting orders to the recruiter school house. Will I have to resubmit my AGR application all over again if I'm waiting past a year? Can anyone give me any insight on what to expect?

Unfortunately you will have to resubmit in a year. I doubt it will remain over strength for too long.

My year will be up in 07/15. Do you think that it would be likely that I'll receive orders to the schoolhouse before then? Also do you know why USAREC is telling me that they are understrength while the AGR Recruiting Team is telling me USAREC is at overstrength? It was a long process to get to this point and now it seems like I'm really getting nowhere. Thank you for your feedback.

The last I was told by branch is that they are over strength. But what USAREC sees and HRC sees aren't always going to be the same thing...takes systems a while to catch up to each other. There is probably a decent chance you can come down on orders in a year time.
