What colleges or universities offer tuition assistance, grants, and scholarships to veterans Pre-911?

Are there any colleges/universities that offer tuition assistance/grants/scholarships to veterans Pre-911? I see most nowadays offer Post-911 but rarely see Pre-911. I would love to finish my degree and go on to earn my MBA, but I do not have a GI Bill to use. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Your first step should be to check with the state colleges and universities for the state in which you live, as well as the state of your home of record if it is a different state.
