I've never quite understood their purpose. One team one fight right? what are y'all's thoughts on this?

Go Army! Beat Navy! It's sibling rivalry. We may not get along with our sister services but nobody else is allowed to pick on them but us.

I've never seen a Marine so quickly admit they were a part of the Department of the Navy without reminding me they we the Men's Department.

Coast Guard is part of DHS now. They don't count anymore.

All this dogging on the Army!! LOL It is all in fun. Even working at a joint base like I do we get it all the time. But I love working with every single branch and I would not change it for the world.

Good healthy rivalry/competition makes us work harder to be the best and makes everyone better in the end. Just like we have Soldier/NCO of the month boards, commanders cup competitions and post intramurals. We are just a bunch of proud "alpha" type guys that like to compete, win and be the best. Even though we do all the heavy lifting and hard work you can be sure us ARMY guys got the back of all the Marines/Sailors and Airmen to the bitter end.
